Festival Mozaic's WinterMezzo 2012
WinterMezzo February 10-12 is a weekend of engaging musical experiences centered on great works of chamber music, featuring our Festival’s nationally-renowned guest artists. Each WinterMezzo weekend focuses on several works and offers you three progressive programs in which to experience them: *On FRIDAY, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine from one of Mozaic’s favorite wineries as you listen to musicians’ perspectives on the featured works in a one-hour Notable Encounter Insight. *On SATURDAY, enjoy an evening of food, wine, music and interactive discussion at a Notable Encounter Dinner, as the artists take you inside the featured works and perform program highlights. *On SUNDAY, hear it all come together at the WinterMezzoConcert where the full works are performed.
San Luis Obispo Culinary Carnival
On February 3rd enjoy gourmet food prepared by regional celebrity chefs and restaurants, paired with local wine and beer. Combined with a beautiful setting and silent auction, come for a splendid evening filled with culinary delights. Featured restaurants and wineries include:

18th San Luis Obispo International Film Festival
As a premiere 5-day annual event March 7-11, the SLOIFF showcases contemporary and classic film screenings in a wide variety of venues, from the city's classic art deco Fremont Theatre, to the popular independent Palm Theatre, with a variety of unexpected venues from the wine country of Paso Robles to the seaside towns of Avila Beach and Pismo Beach.
Variety is the spice of life, and the SLOIFF is proud to embrace that philosophy in its programming. From cutting edge documentaries to tried and true cinema classics, the SLOIFF celebrates film on the 'big screen' by offering something for everyone.
